Niscayah Limited became the new name, from June 2008, for Bell Security (established in 1986) - the UK and Ireland subsidiaries of Swedish-headquartered Niscayah AB (the company formally known as Securitas Systems AB, prior to the Group's international rebranding in 2008).  

Niscayah specialises as a systems integrator. Our expertise in the design, implementation, management and operational support of technology-based security and fire solutions is represented in our Value Chain (illustrated above). Customers are primarily medium- and larger-sized organisations of many kinds, who require protection for major, prestige sites and/or multi-site property estates.

Niscayah's expertise spans all of the key security disciplines – CCTV, access control, intruder alarms – in considerable depth. In today’s terms this relates essentially to an ability to exploit the IT/networking capabilities inherent in the new generation of security technologies. The impact of digital processes in the performance of CCTV image recording, transmission or vehicle number plate recognition, for example, or the integration of smart card and biometric technology within access control, bring new levels of system performance, reliability and efficiency.

‘Best-of-breed’ technologies are sourced internationally. Associated system elements, such as barriers and fencing, can also be project-managed within a turnkey solutions capability. Niscayah's expertise is assisting commercial and non-commercial clients to address the increase in security concerns that has emerged in recent years.
