Niscayah Limited was co-founded in the UK, in 1986, as Bell Security - by our former Chairman Pat Curran. ‘Bell Group plc’ was the UK-listed holding company’s name for the businesses from 1999. This became a wholly owned subsidiary of Securitas AB, which acquired Bell Group in 2004.  Securitas floated-off its Security Systems' division (of which Bell was part) as Securitas Systems AB (publ) in September 2006. In 2008 the Securitas Systems Group (including Bell Security) rebranded under the name Niscayah.

• 1990 Pacom installer for Leeds Permanent Building Society
•  ‘90s Opened regional offices in UK & Ireland
• 1998 Acquired Pacom (Australian IT supplier – key strategic partner)
• 1999 Floated as Bell Group plc - expanded into fire systems and internationally
• 2004 Acquired by Securitas AB as a platform for Securitas Systems' UK & Ireland business
• 2006 Securitas Systems AB (publ)  spun-off from Securitas AB
• 2008 Niscayah is the new name chosen as Bell and Securitas Systems rebrand
